Description:
Created during (2013/14), more towards the middle of this period, which I call Mid-Chapter 1. This canvas marks the beginning of what I call the I Am Right Society—a concept that emerged from the emotions I experienced during the 2014 Israel-Palestine conflict.
At this stage, I was coming out of a period of deep self-reflection—perhaps even narcissism—and beginning to pay closer attention to the world around me. All of my identities were colliding, and I was struggling to make sense of it all. I poured every feeling and thought onto this canvas, which stands over 2 meters high.
This is where the story of the I Am Right Society—in which we all live—began, along with my own 10-year journey of confronting my ego.
It also marks the birth of the Neutral People in my mind. With so many extremes in the world, I found myself examining the two sides of everything, trying to hear the voice that lies in between—the voice that bridges the extremes of humanity.
“Raven’s Horizon” is a chaotic yet structured expression of these emotions. The bold lettering and fragmented imagery capture the intensity of division, while the interplay of movement and text creates a rhythm of thought—one that challenges, questions, and invites reflection.
A piece about conflict. About identity. About the space in between.
