The Beginning
My journey began just over ten years ago. It was the start of me letting go of perfection and control. I bought the cheapest notebook I could find and started drawing. Rather than rubbing things out I just allowed things to flow to see what developed. Whatever I intended to draw, something else would present itself and I learnt to be at peace with it.
The same process developed for my writing. In my imagination, it took the form of a puzzle where the words were pieced together by being placed on different pages, allowing them to come together. These canvases were my place to express what was going on inside me on a number of different levels. It was where I could create, start my playground of ideas and thoughts: my road map out of my mind and body.
