Created during Chapter 2 (2020 - 2023), this piece is part of the Versions of Robert Collection—a deeply personal body of work reflecting my journey through my mother’s stroke, dissociation, and eventual dementia. This period of my life involved immense inner soul work, each piece acting as a page in a diary, often accompanied by spoken word poetry.
“With Love Inner Soul” explores the power of creativity as a unifying force—a way to bring people together beyond borders, religion, and historical narratives. The artwork references frogs and pharaohs, invoking biblical themes tied to Moses and the struggle for freedom. At its core, this piece is a message to all who feel oppressed, unheard, or trapped in division, whether in Israel, Palestine, Iran, or anywhere in the world.
The composition blends symbolic elements with abstraction, inviting the viewer to search within the lines, colours, and shapes. The pharaoh’s presence suggests power, while the fragmented forms allude to the fragility of human perspectives. This work does not seek to erase narratives or dictate a single truth—instead, it encourages the possibility of a new goal, a new conversation, where people can align without losing their identity.
Through art, I play my part in fostering dialogue, expression, and the hope of understanding through creation.
